Wendy Burkholder is the Vice President of Ambulatory Care for University Hospital. In her role, Wendy oversees the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the hospital’s ambulatory care network, which encompasses over 250,000 visits annually. Prior to joining UH, Wendy served as the Vice President of the Ambulatory Services Division at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she led the expansion of a clinically-integrated network that enhanced care accessibility throughout the state. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Medical University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Wendy has held mentorship roles as part of the Fellowship of American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE) National Program, ACHE Hawaii Chapter, and Hawaii Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals.
