Thomas Schoenig, Interim Chief Information Officer

Thomas Schoenig serves as University Hospital’s Interim Chief Information Officer. Thomas plays a crucial role in shaping University Hospital’s IT vision and strategy, leveraging technology to enhance patient care and experience, streamline operations, safeguard patient data, secure information systems, and improve overall system performance. Prior to joining University Hospital, Thomas was the Associate Chief Information Officer at CHRISTUS Health System in Irving, Texas – responsible for the health system’s five hospitals in south Texas. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts from Monmouth College.
