Meet the Staff


David Marks, MD
Adult neurologist and epileptologist with fellowship training in intensive seizure monitoring, as well as the medical and surgical treatment of epilepsy. Dr. Marks completed a neuro-physiology fellowship at Tufts Medical School and an epilepsy fellowship at Yale University Medical School.

Jayoung Pak, MD
Pediatric neurologist and pediatric epileptologist with fellowship training in pediatric neurology from the UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, and postdoctoral fellowship training in epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, and neurophysiology from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.


Peter Carmel, MD, DMedSc
Professor and chief of neurological surgery (adult and pediatric) and internationally recognized expert in pediatric neurosurgery, Dr. Carmel previously held the position of professor of clinical neurological surgery and the director of the division of pediatric neurosurgery at College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University.

Jeffrey E. Catrambone, MD
Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Director of Craniofacial Reconstruction, Dr. Catrambone is a 1992 graduate of the University of Illinois Medical School. Following a residency at Hanamann University/Loma Linda University, Dr. Catrambone completed a fellowship at the James Whitcome Riley Hospital for Children.

Allen Maniker, MD
Specializing in peripheral nerve surgery, Dr. Maniker completed postdoctoral fellowships in that field at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans and the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He is an associate professor of Neurological Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School.
