Membership is open to anyone who is interested in the betterment of University Hospital and is willing to uphold the Auxiliary’s Mission. Prospective members must submit their names to the Membership Committee for review and approval. Once approved, members are required to pay annual dues of ten dollars.
Auxiliary members are required to work a minimum of four hours per month (exclusive of meetings), either in the hospital or on an approved project. If necessary, a member may be excused from an assignment by a Board Member.
Members are also expected to attend monthly Auxiliary meetings. Meeting notices will be sent to all members by mail. If you need transportation, call the President at (973) 972-4059.
Members are invited to participate on one or both of the following committees:
Rights and Privileges
Recruits new members and handles administrative duties.
Designs and coordinates fund-raising programs and activities such as bus trips, card parties and Gift Shop work.
Any member in good standing may propose an expenditure of income or principal for the Board’s approval.

- Two months have the right to vote and to participate on committees.
- One year are eligible to hold office in the Auxiliary.
