The University Hospital Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response (UH CEPR) is uniquely qualified to offer healthcare, first responder and community centric training throughout New Jersey. The UH CEPR is located in Newark, NJ on the University Hospital Campus. The center benefits from its close relationship with the University Hospital Community Training Center, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and the NJ Emergency Medical Services Task Force.
The Faculty of the UH CEPR includes first responders, clinicians, and educators who collectively have responded to 9/11, The Miracle on the Hudson, and Hurricanes Katrina, Irene, and Sandy.
The center specializes in the rapid development and implementation of courses to address emerging issues. Training provided by UH CEPR is made possible thanks to a generous grant from the NJ Department of Health PHILEP Division
